It’s also territory of the NENETS who have crossed the peninsula from North to South with their reindeer for over 200 generations. Can they survive this greed and this over-industrialization? A polar and environmental western, this film explores the emergence of the Northern Sea Route and the disappearance of the last Siberian trail toward vital pastures. The success of one may mean the extinction of the other.
